Network-Initiated Events

Manila Bay Seasports Festival

A two-day event featuring Dragon Boat mixed team championships and motorized banca competitions. Rowing clubs, student groups, and top athletes see action in the dragon boat race, while bangkeros from all over the country pit their skills in stock and formula banca races.

Aliwan Fiesta

Since its inception in 2003, Aliwan Fiesta has gathered together champion streetdance contingents from the different regions, along with a bevy of beauties, and master craftsmen who painstakingly construct floats using the most arresting mechanical and technical ideas.

Manila Bay Clean-Up Run

An annual fun run, which began in 2007, that features 3k, 5k, 10k, and 21k races with medals and cash
prizes. The event is one of many activities that raise funds for systematic, long-term solutions to environmental sanitation problems that beset the country’s coastal resources and tributaries.

MBC National Choral Competition

One of the most prestigious chorale competitions in the nation that brings together the best vocal
ensembles from around the Philippine archipelago.
